"This
portrait depicts St. Raphael practicing two kinds of healing. As he
touches the wounded boy's head, Raphael heals the physical body, and
as he looks into the mother's eyes, Raphael heals the mother's broken
heart and wounded spirit. Each of us needs healing at one time or another.
Let us make sure to remember that we are healing angels and the right
touch and understanding eyes may be all the medicine that is needed
to salve a broken heart or a skinned knee. "You
