Marita's Story

Although born in Pennsylvania, I've lived out most my life's lessons in Texas. And, while still working on my own healing, I have reaped a lot of my rewards in North Carolina. I have been blessed to be a part of the "Crystal Coast Mind/Body Center" in Morehead City North Carolina, from Nov. of 95 to June of 97. With a thriving practice in N.Carolina and loving spiritual friends, I feel that the gift of teaching Reiki and passing it on to my students has been the greatest gift of all.

Since then I have moved back to Central Texas..and living here in the beautiful hills with my youngest daughter Carly. My daughter Carly has been attuned to Level I Reiki since she was eleven. Together we work as a family using Reiki whenever we feel guided. It has brought us closer and has made our family a strong, loving and united unit!

Here in Marble Falls, just west of our beautiful capitol Austin Texas, I have opened up another Reiki center called "The Healing House of the Hills". I have settled in and am still sharing Reiki and teaching classes here out of the Healing House of the Hills... and All over the United States.

I have been studying Reiki and working with many enlightened beings that I have met on my path, for the last nine years.

I received my masters and Teaching Certification in December of 95, from the International Center For Reiki Training.. I have also completed the Advanced Licienced Teachers Certification program, through the International Center for Reiki Training.

While, I have been practicing and teaching Reiki at The Healing House of the Hills. I also travel to share the gift of Reiki when they are unable to come to me, and I have also spoken of Reiki at a few community gatherings including a cancer support group meeting at our local hospital . I have experience working with cancer patients, and have seen great healing results with the complementary energies of Reiki. Also, I have seen great results with people that are healing fybromyalgia, chronic migraines, to physical and emotional concerns of all kinds.

Now I have been called to the state of Nevada. I am open to the opportunities that Reiki brings into my life everyday. I am ready to support the Reiki community here in Nevada.... along with any and all other complementary healing modalities. I am excited about sharing the energy of Reiki will all I come in contact here, and am open to support anyone who calls on me, working on personal healing and spiritual growth.

I have been truly blessed with the gift of Reiki in my life.

I have three beautiful children, that I have learned from in so many ways! I also have two new grandchildren that have helped me realize the secrets of life are truly unending! I have a love for all of them only surpassed by my love for God, AND. the lessons I have learned from all.
