About the ICRT

Please note that the ICRT is an accrediting body and membership organization. Our Licensed Reiki Master Teachers (LRMTs) are licensed to use our name and our logo as an indication that they are members of our membership association. They are not employed by the ICRT and teach their classes as independent business people responsible for scheduling their own classes, collecting class fees, and setting up class locations etc.

Our hands on healing workshops CE and CEU credit for professionals. This is an added benefit of our training programs, and this service is offered at no additional charge to the student.

We are also approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Approved Provider via ICRT (#158493-00).

Contact Hours for Nurses

For Usui/Tibetan Reiki I & II and Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher AHNA CEs are available

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA.

Approval for contact hours through the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) is based on an assessment of the educational merit of this program and does not constitute endorsement of the use of any specific modality in the care of clients.

This means that all nurses in every state, that accepts AHNA CEs, are eligible to receive contact hours from AHNA for attending these classes. Contact hours are awarded as indicated below.

Reiki I – 7.25 hours – Approval Code 1011 exp: Oct. 24, 2015
Reiki II – 7.5 hours – Approval Code 1012 exp: Oct. 24, 2015
ART – 6.25 hours – Approval Code 1013 exp: Oct. 29, 2015
Reiki III/Master – 12.5 hours – Approval Code 1015 exp: Oct. 29, 2015

For all Holy Fire classes CEs are available via CES approved programs which are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) See table below for hours by class.

Contact Hours for Nurses, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Substance Abuse Counselors

As an American Psychological Association (APA) approved provider Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) approved programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa. CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, (Provider Number CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.

Continuing Education credit for this program is awarded by Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) for the following professions. Attendees completing this program receive continuing education hours of credit as follows

  • Usui | Holy Fire Reiki I & II – 14 hours
  • Usui | Holy Fire ART/Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours
  • Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours

Social Workers:

CES, provider #1117, is approved as a Provider for Social Work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. CES maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB approval period: October 6, 2012- October 5, 2015. Social Workers should contact their regularity board to determine course approval. Social Workers participating in this course will receiveclinical continuing education clock hours as follows

  • Usui | Holy Fire Reiki I & II – 14 hours
  • Usui | Holy Fire ART/Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours
  • Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours

Marriage and Family Therapists:

The following Marriage and Family Therapy Boards accept programs offered by APA, NBCC or ASWB approved providers: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, LA, MD, ME, MS, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, VA, VT, WA AND WI.

CES maintains responsibility for these programs. In addition, CES is an approved CE provider for Florida Marriage & Family Therapists (CE Provider # 50-9633), an approved California Continuing Education Provider for Marriage & Family Therapists (Approval #PCE 4693) and an approved Continuing Education Provider for Texas Marriage & Family Therapists (Provider Number 557). The Marriage & Family Therapists in these states earn continuing education credit after completing this course as follows:

  • Usui | Holy Fire Reiki I & II – 14 hours
  • Usui | Holy Fire ART/Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours
  • Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours

Substance Abuse Counselors:
CES is approved by the Association for Addiction
Professionals (NAADAC), Approved Education Provider Program #174. Continuing education credit is granted for this program, as follows:

  • Usui | Holy Fire Reiki I & II – 14 hours
  • Usui | Holy Fire ART/Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours
  • Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master Teacher 21 hours

Counselors should contact their regularity board to determine course approval.

How to Receive Credit

To receive contact hours, please inform the Registrar when registering for class that your are a licensed nurse, massage therapist, social worker, marriage and family counselor, or drug and alcohol abuse counseler and that you would like to receive credit hours, and the necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.

You must also: Attend all parts of the educational activity; participate in group practice sessions; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques.

When you register for our classes, please let us know that you would like to receive CEs, so we can bring the proper paperwork to class.
