About the ICRT

Please note that the ICRT is an accrediting body and membership organization. Our Licensed Reiki Master Teachers (LRMTs) are licensed to use our name and our logo as an indication that they are members of our membership association. They are not employed by the ICRT and teach their classes as independent business people responsible for scheduling their own classes, collecting class fees, and setting up class locations etc.

 

CEUs and CEs Continuing Education Credits CEs for Professionals

Our hands on healing workshops CE and CEU credit for professionals. This is an added benefit of our training programs, and this service is offered at no additional charge to the student.

Available for Nurses, Massage Therapists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists

We are also approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Approved Provider via ICRT (#158493-00).

For all ICRT Usui/Tibetan AND Holy Fire classes CEs are available via CES approved programs which are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) See table below for hours by class.

Contact Hours for Nurses, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists

Social Workers:

CES, provider #1117, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. CES maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers participating in this course will receive clinical continuing education clock hours as follows:

Usui/Tibetan ART/Master Teacher - 21
Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher - 21
Karuna Reiki Master Teacher - 21

Nurses:

As an APA approved provider CES programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa. CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, (Provider Number CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Nurses completing this program receive CE hours of credit as follows:

Marriage & Family Therapists:

The following Marriage and Family Therapy Boards accept programs offered by APA or ASWB approved providers: AZ, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MD, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, PA, SD, TN, VA, WA and WI. In addition, CES is an approved CE provider for Florida Marriage & Family Therapists (CE Provider # 50-9633), an approved California Continuing Education Provider for Marriage & Family Therapists (Approval #PCE 4693) and an approved Continuing Education Provider for Texas Marriage & Family Therapists (Provider #558). CES maintains responsibility for this program.  Marriage & Family Therapists completing this program will receive hours of credit as follows:

How to Receive Credit

To receive contact hours, please inform the Registrar when registering for class that your are a licensed nurse, massage therapist, social worker, marriage and family counselor, or drug and alcohol abuse counseler and that you would like to receive credit hours, and the necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.

You must also: Attend all parts of the educational activity; participate in group practice sessions; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques.

When you register for our classes, please let us know that you would like to receive CEs, so we can bring the proper paperwork to class.
