I work in the Scottish Ambulance service. One day whilst myself and my crew mate were waiting on a patient, one of the crews came in. They are one of the most jolly crews in our station, but on that particular day, Frank was looking quite pale. I asked him was he okay, and he said he had a really bad headache. I asked him, would he like some Reiki? He was delighted. I sat him down on a chair and proceeded to give him Reiki for about fifteen minutes. He started to relax and was telling me all the colors that he could see and how he felt. After about twenty minutes he jumped up and said, "I feel fantastic and really focused!" He gave me a big hug and went outside, phoned his wife and brother, and told them how good he felt. The story does not end here!
One of the nurses saw me and came over and asked me what I was doing and I told her. She asked for "a quick burst of Reiki." I sat her down, and as she was sitting there I had asked her, did she have any pain on the left side of her jaw? She asked, "How did you know that?" I just said I trust Reiki. I had given her about fifteen minutes of Reiki. She thanked me and went back to work.
About a month later, she came running up to me and said, "I have so much to thank you for!" I was puzzled. She had told me that she had pain in her jaw for over a year. She had been to her doctor and dentist, but they were unable to help. She said the pain had disappeared and had not come back. She was able to have great nights of sleep and no pain. I was overjoyed to hear that, and she has been for Reiki ever since. I have been a Master/Teacher for nearly three years, and Reiki never ceases to amaze me.
Blessed Be.
