Healing Land Reiki, founded in 2016 by Lena Takahashi and Muniqui Muhammad. As owners of a Reiki center in Kyoto City, Japan, they offer an opportunity for you to experience Reiki in its sacred and authentic origins.

Lena and Muniqui’s experiences serve as a powerful example of how Reiki has deeply influenced their lives, bringing healing, growth, and self-improvement. Their personal journeys highlight Reiki’s ability to create meaningful and lasting impacts, inspiring others to explore its benefits.

Lena arrived in Japan in 2003 as an 18-year-old from Ukraine, overcoming cultural and personal barriers to adapt to a country known for its deep traditions and unique social expectations.

Muniqui, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, has lived in Japan since 1998. As the first Black/African-American and only the second Muslim to become an ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, he has devoted his life to bridging cultures and creating spaces for healing and growth.

Together, Lena and Muniqui bring decades of experience living in Japan, offering a profound understanding of its traditions and a compassionate approach to teaching. Their combined journeys reflect the transformative power of resilience, connection, and the healing energy of Reiki.

Healing Land Reiki offers:

• Reiki Classes
  From Reiki I & II to advanced levels, the classes are taught in a way that allow for personalized guidance. Offered both online and in person at our Reiki center. In Kyoto, Japan.
   
• Mt. Kurama Reiki Class with Retreat Experience
  Experience all levels of Reiki training at the sacred birthplace of Usui Reiki: Mt. Kurama. While the curriculum mirrors our classes in Kyoto city, the Mt. Kurama experience immerses you in the profound energy of this historic and spiritual location, creating a deeper connection to Reiki.
   
• Guided Reiki Trip and Excursions
  In addition to our classes, we offer guided excursions to Mt. Kurama, the birthplace of Usui Reiki, and Taniai Village, Usui Sensei’s hometown to explore the sacred origins and history of Reiki. Personalized excursions and translation services also available.
   
• Personalized Reiki Sessions
  Experience Reiki sessions tailored to your unique needs, available both in-person at our Kyoto center and online.
